For the past few classes we have been discussing what it means to be wealthy in urban areas. Gated communities and behind the scenes of being rich in Jakarta paint a certain image of affluence and high society. I came across this very disturbing video that shows the other side of the coin so to speak. Now while this video is only representative of a small population of the huge population of Hong Kong, it is still extremely disturbing to see the conditions that these slum dwellers have to live in.
