Nowadays, culture is seen as the form of commodities. For instance, culture is produced as consumer goods and commodities such as music, film, literature and etc… In addition, culture is shared among the community and hence, it becomes the public owned property. We can see people performing traditional dance and singing in restaurants, malls, on streets and etc… These performances are claimed as the cultural commodities because the goal of these performances is to gain money. Therefore, culture enters the market economy where culture is made into different categories of goods consumed by a group of people.
