KillCap: The Game

KillCap, short for Kill Capitalism, is an internet game sponsored by the non-profit magazine Adbusters and aimed at pulling Project Mayhem-esque maneuvers on the corporate world. The game is still 'coming soon' but here's a flyer.

An article in the Adbuster magazine describes it as a game with a "literal leader-board where the highest rank goes to the most active jammers."

Below the poster there's an e-mail address for those that wish to get involved. Internet organization could prove to be the essential tool for leader-phobic anti-corporate agents, and as Facebook and Twitter have shown, social media sites can quickly become ubiquitous tools. The game is especially relevant because of how useful it could be for the Occupy Together agents around the nation.

The violent implication of the game's name makes me a little uncomfortable, but it's an interesting thought to keep in mind during our 'politics in the city' conversations.
